Before joining the wine regions located at the foot of the Andes , a visit by the city of Buenos Aires and its surroundings is important, this city has no shortage of restaurants and bar to discover the Argentine wines at affordable prices

The province of Buenos Aires has become a producer of quality wines during the first decade of the 21st century.

The Grapes Products in this region are : Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon , Cabernet Franc , Chardonnay, Semillon , Sauvignon Blanc, Tannat , Petit Verdot and Tempranillo

These new Argentinian wines have a production area located far east of the traditional vineyards are cultivated in the west of the country, mostly near the Andes.

The vineyards are located in the southern part of the province , especially around Médanos .

Médanos :This land has ideal unique conditions for quality vineyards . The soil is sandy , and given its latitude ( approximately parallel 39 º South, where the region of the Pampas and Patagonia converge ) vineyards receive long hours of sunshine , resulting in grapes with a high content sugar . The wind helps to develop a thicker skin that contributes to the intense color of these wines.

The business was launched in the land previously dedicated to garlic and pastures. The Wine Médanos won a silver medal in the Decanter World Wine Awards.

With the proximity of the ocean, the land of Médanos consists of sandy soil on a limestone slab with long hours of sunshine and strong winds in the region develop thick skins in the grapes that contribute to complex wines .

The Buenos Aires area

The Buenos Aires area is 307,571 km2 and is surrounded by the provinces of Río Negro, La Pampa, Cordoba , Santa Fe and Entre Rios.

The climate of the province is strongly influenced by the ocean, with very hot summers and mild winters. The high humidity and abundant rainfall distributed throughout the year.

The most important Rivers are the Río Salado water which is 700 km long . Samborombón the Río Grande and the Río Quequén
