Le Colorado

Le Colorado est un État de l'Ouest des États-Unis. Avec pour capitale Denver. Bordé au nord par le Wyoming et le Nebraska, a l’est par le Kansas, au sud East par l’Oklahoma, au sud par le Nouveau Mexique, et à l’Ouest par l’Utah. il est aussi un des deux seuls États totalement rectangulaires avec le Wyoming. Sont nom d’origine espagnole signifie ( couleur rouge). Du aux formations rocheuses de couleur rouge du Sud-ouest du Colorado.

A l’origine ce sont d’abord les Natives Américains Apaches, les Arapahos et ensuite les Cheyennes qui occupèrent les plaines orientales du Colorado.

Ou dans le parc de Mesa Verde, classé au Patrimoine Mondial de l’Unesco ont y trouve d’anciennes habitations creusées dans la roche datant de l’époque des Natives Américains, avec pas moins de 152 habitations troglodytiques datées d’entre 600 et 1300.
