The Campania region and the Vine
( Italian: Regione Campania) , more commonly known as Campania is a region of southern Italy . The word would be the Campania latincampus term ( the campaign) , from Oscan Kampanom term , designating the area around the city of Capua ( Capua ) , who was the main city of the southern part of the Italian peninsula.
